My five favorite books to movie/tv adaptations.

I've always been a Movie and tv series girl ever since mom sat me in front of a TV as a kid. I love going to the cinema and I love seeing Movies/tv series at home, with friends and alone. Everytime I read a book, I see it as a movie in my head. But I'm always afraid when my favorite books are turned into movies or a tv series. There is always a doubt about the movie or tv series being good or not, and the way I expected it to be. Nevertheless, I have discovered some movies/tv-series, which I liked very well as a movie and tv adaptations.

The fault in our stars by John Green is one of my favorite books and movie adaptations. I remember that I sat in the cinema very nervous before it started, but I had nothing to be nervous for. Absolutely fantastic movie and the actors looked great in their roles. I love it so much. Yes, the movie made me cry a bit, just like the book. But it was definitely worth it!

Simon vs the homo sapiens agenda by Becky Albertalli is one of my favorite books. I love the movie so much. A bit different from the book, but overall it was a fantastic movie. I love Nick Robertson as Simon. He was so funny, amazing and heartbreaking. He made me cry and laugh a lot.

I love Harry Potter. It was a big part of my childhood. I love the movies, even though the books are better. I always felt that I grew up with Daniel and the other actors since I'm as old as him. I still remember seeing all of the movies at the cinema with my bestfriends. I know it's a movie series with many movies, but I choose this as one of my favorite for this list.

So far, I've only read two books in the Cormoran Strike series by Robert Galbraith / J.K Rowling.  I have all the books so far released. I love the tv adaptations and I really hope when the author writes more books in the series, that they will continue on with the tv series. Tom Burke is perfect as private detective Cormoran Strike and Holliday Grainger is fantastic as Robin Ellacott.

Emma by Jane Austen is one of my favorite classics. My favorite tv adaptations of the book is BBC's Emma with Romola Garai as Emma and Jonny Lee Miller as Mr. Knightley. I love the actors and they fit so well together on the screen. I love their chemistry throughout the entire tv mini series. The story and everything is so well done.

What are some of your favorite books to movie/tv adaptations?

Love, Elin.
